Day Care Terms and Conditions
These Conditions of day care constitute the terms of an agreement between Paw Seasons Pty Ltd (“the Business”) and the owner of the pet or agent for the pet owner (“the Owner”) relating to the provision of boarding or day care services (“the Services”) by the Business of the Owner’s animal.
All dogs must always approach, enter and leave the facility on a leash.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated with C5 or equivalent (C3 and Canine Cough). Proof of vaccination is required at check-in.
All dogs must be in good general health and have up to date flea and tick treatment. Customers must provide evidence of their pet having been wormed with an all wormer recently. This worming treatment must cover the duration of the pet’s day care visits with us otherwise Paw Seasons Pty Ltd will worm the animal at the Customer’s expense.
All dogs must be desexed after 6 months of age. Un-desexed female dogs in heat will not be able to attend daycare. It is the responsibility of the owner to advise Paw Seasons Pty Ltd and we take no responsibility for any events that occur if they do attend whilst in heat.
The Owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested or deemed necessary by the Business and any veterinary costs for the animal during the time the animal is in the Business’ care including, but not limited to travel fees and additional labour costs. In the event where the Owner’s pet becomes seriously ill, and where the Owner cannot be readily contacted, the veterinary surgeon’s decision in relation to treatment of the animal shall be final and conclusive.
You must inform us of any known behaviour problems that your dog(s) may have, including, but not limited to, fear aggression, minimal socialisation, dominance, mounting etc. Paw Seasons Pty Ltd uses safe and harmless corrective methods such as verbal commands, and timeouts when reprimanding a dog’s behaviour.
New dogs must undergo an assessment and attend a trial day before they are deemed suitable for daycare. Trial days are Monday and Friday ONLY. Any behaviour deemed dangerous or inappropriate at Paw Seasons Pty Ltd by new and re-occurring dogs may result in the removal of your dog(s) from the facility.
Tara Estate’s Daycare facility is a cage free environment that allows dogs to interact and play directly with one another off leash under supervision. Every dog reacts differently and animals, by nature, can be unpredictable and therefore present a certain level of risk. I acknowledge and understand that there are certain risks involved in day care, including but not limited to injuries to people, property and animal/s. Paw Seasons Pty Ltd staff will administer first aid if required to all minor injuries and notify the customer of said injury when they collect their dog(s). If any injuries require urgent medical attention, Paws Seasons Pty Ltd will contact the owner and transport the dog(s) to ARH.
The Owner agrees to be solely responsible for all acts or behaviour of their pet while it is in the Business’ care and hereby indemnifies the Business and shall keep the Business indemnified to the full extent permitted by law for any action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created any liability on the Business. The Owner shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any of the Business property and accepts that the Owner of the pet will be liable for any damages caused.
The dog will be released from daycare only to persons named within your customer record including emergency contacts. You must advise in writing naming any other authorised persons to collect your dog.
Under no circumstances will Paw Seasons Pty Ltd, its employees or agents be responsible for paralysis tick, fleas, canine influenza, injury, loss, damage or death of any kind whatsoever, whether or not caused by any negligent act or omission of Paw Seasons Pty Ltd, its employees or agents, that may occur to any dog staying at Tara Estate.
This agreement relates to Paw Seasons Pty Ltd Doggy Daycare service and is not applicable for overnight stays. Should you require an overnight stay for your pet then you agree to Paw Seasons Pty Ltd Pet Boarding Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation of your Booking Date – you agree to contact the Facility Reception directly by 8.30am to cancel your daycare session. Paw Seasons Pty Ltd requires a day’s notice to move a recurring daycare session.
Payment is due at Check-in. You understand that daycare rates are reviewed periodically and may increase at any time without prior notice.
Paw Seasons Pty Ltd Daycare operating times are 7.30am to 5.30pm unless by prior arrangement. Animals not collected by 5:30pm will be placed in the overnight kennels and applicable charges will be applied and must be paid for before the dog goes home.
The owner acknowledges that all photographic images or digital recordings taken of the facility, dogs, customers and staff, together with their prints and their copyrights therein are the property of Paw Seasons Pty Ltd. I authorise Paw Seasons Pty Ltd to reproduce the images, in print or electronic format without compensation to me.
By attending our daycare, you are agreeing that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are in addition to our assessments and socialisation criteria, all of which are subject to change without notice. By accepting these terms and conditions, you certify the accuracy of all information given about your dog when registering.
I accept all reasonable risk of injury to my dog(s) that may occur in normal activities of a dog day care environment. My dog(s) is cared for at Paw Seasons Pty Ltd without liability for loss or damage from disease, theft, fire, escape, injury or harm to persons, other dogs, or property.
